#8 - Lotro(geek’s) 30-Day Picture Challenge!

# 8 - Mounting up! - Your favorite mount: "...in the Riddermark of Rohan the Rohirrim, the Horse-lords, dwell,
and there are no horses like those that are bred in that great vale between the Misty Mountains and the White."

The Last Homely (hipster) House
And listen and hark / Till the end of the dark
to our tune / ah! ah!"
I like to think that when the world will fall apart all the poets, adventurers and philosophers will meet
in the Last Homely House for a last tea together.
Is there a better place to live than Rivendell?
Is there something better than telling and listening to good stories in a peaceful land? Is there anything wiser than caring for nature and knowledge and freedom?
(and is there another place in Lotro where you could meet so many hipsters?) :-)

Ring a Dong Dillo!
# 4 - Celebrity stalker moment, which book character were you most excited to meet?
When I was a newbie I ran across the Old Forest and aggroed a lot of wolves... but then I saw old Tom strolling near his house, lucky me! Well... he let me die, bitten by hungry wolves while Tom was happily singing and dancing :D
Anyway, he still is one of my favourite characters in Lotr. I know that many people dislike him, and many more desn't even know that he exists, since he was completely cut off from P. Jackson's trilogy, but I like him because he is an ancient, merry, queer and completely out of control creature. Even in a world shaken by wars and darkness and banality, there will always be a Tom Bombadill, somewhere, proud to dream and to be sincerely unconventional :)

(500) Days of Rivendell
# 1 - Post a picture of your main toon(s): my warden Ewine in the Library of the Last Homely House, near a pretty hipster elf.
I think that the Library of Master Elrond is the place where you can find the most stylish / hipster people of Middle-Earth!

One Year Later!

Already a year after I begun to post pics and I got the Newbie Blogger Initiative Badge :-)
I still think that NBI has been a really positive experience, that made me think over blogging and videogames blogging (and I also met some cool girl-gamers whose blogs I still follow and appreciate: Ravalation, Danania and Lotirieth ♥).
Recently I haven't been an active blogger, after the opening of Hipstalotro I joined a bigger kinship on lotro and I begun to raid a lot (and I also ended up becoming an officer _eek_), so I didn't have the time to explore and take silly pics around. But, to celebrate the 1st Birthday of Hipstalotro and the NBI, I decided to join the Lotro (Geek's) 30-day Picture Challenge, so I'll be posting a bit more for the next month ;-)
